The Svantek SV 33B Class 1 Sound Calibrator boasts a built-in reference piezoresistive sensor, pressure and temperature sensors, and a microprocessor system for precise measurements of atmospheric conditions. With a frequency of 1 kHz, it can generate an acoustic pressure of reference level 114 dB, making it suitable for calibrating Class 1 and Class 2 sound level meters and dosimeters with 1/2" microphones. Its efficient sinusoidal waveform is digitally generated and sent to the loudspeaker, while a sampled signal from the reference piezoresistive sensor provides feedback to the microprocessor, which adjusts the amplification of the loudspeaker signal to produce the appropriate sound pressure level in the calibrator's chamber.
